I changed the standard Joomla favicon.ico file and was successful in IE8 and Firefox, but even after clearing my browsers cache, Chrome is still using the original favicon. Is there a certain line of code that will fix this issue?

Hello

if the favicon worked on IE8 and Firefox, i make sure that it must to work on other browsers. i think that the problem is browser cache. you try doing following tasks:

1) clear all section, cookie cache again
2) close and open browser
3) ctr + f5 and you try pressing 2,3 times,
i think that the problem will be resolved 🙂
