I have struggled in vain to find out how to change or where to change the favicon. I’ve replaced every Joomla favicon.ico with mine, but going to my website always shows the standard joomla favicon.

Are there docs on how to do this in the T3 framework/template environment?

Could u post the site URL here , so that i can see the icon is changed or not .
Browser cached the images , it can be a reason that you are not able to see changes .

i checked your site and your favicon is updated . There is an apple icon : http://prntscr.com/bt77pn
You can clean your browser cache and check or check it after sometime , its changed .
