Hello ,

We can not update the favicon by default of joomla for our favicon, we have in the template directory the our favicon in 32×32 pixel’s and nothing….the site still appear the original favicon

Why can’t this favicon not be placed in the
/templates/<your template>/images/themes/<your color>
folder?
Everything in T3 can be override and just a simple favicon can’t be changed easy?

O, putting the favicon in the
/templates/<your template>
yes that als can be an option,
but then what is the need of multiple layouts, typography and color schemes?

For example
A color theme green with an orange favicon.
And then an extra theme color purple, then we must use an orange favicon with? :((

Sorry Joomlart T3 Framework that is an to easy answer!
Why don’t you add an extra option in the template manager with the following options:
– upload favicon
– upload logo
– upload Home Screen logo

Hi ocean12,

Thanks for your suggestion. With our latest T3 framework, you only have to replace default favicon from root_folder/templates/your_template/ with your custom favicon.

About your second question, with current Joomla! code structure, it’s impossible to implement multiple favicons for multiple styles as you requested.
