I made myself a new favicon and replace my old favicon image with the new in my template folder.
Thing is now I have the original joomla favicon back.
I have replace all the images I can find in the templates called favicon.ico with my own, so how can the original one still be shown?

There are four templates in my ftp folders…BEEZ, PURITY, MILKYWAY and my own EDENITE I have changed all the ico files with my new image

Could I have missed one?

I have done all the usual CLEAR CACHE in my browser!

It does appear to be a browser related issue, I ran the browser comparison site and the new ico does appear in some of them, must be a problem with IE8 clearing the caches
