I just upgraded to JA Anion 1.1.0 and all my Featured Article is duplicating on the frontpage.

I tried to roll back, back it didn’t work.
Please help to rectify the problem.

Update!!! I have since manually copied back ja_anion 1.0 renaming the themes, and there is no more duplication.
This prove, there is something wrong with the ja_anion 1.1.0 and not a problem with my setup.

I will keep running ja_anion 1.0 for now.

I dig a bit digging around comparing the files, looks like templatehtmlcom_contentfeatureddefault_item.php is the problem.
For now I am running ja_anion 1.1.0 with the templatehtmlcom_contentfeatureddefault_item.php from ja_anion 1.0.
It seemed the new additions to include edit from frontpage and readmore option is the cause.

I’m having the same problem you can see it in my temp site http://www.techclub.gr/jupgrade/
The file templatesja_anionhtmlcom_contentfeatureddefault_item.php does not exists in ja_anion 1.0 there is only one similar in
templatesja_anionhtmlcom_contentfrontpagedefault_item.php but replacing it doesn’t do the trick.

What lines inside default_item.php must be removed or altered?

I have checked your site but i don’t see the duplicated content. You have sorted it out? Could you tell us the solution?

no I haven’t solved it, the problem still exists,
you can see the problem in http://www.techclub.gr/jupgrade/ (J1.6) not in http://www.techclub.gr/ (J1.5)
The whole paragraph is duplicated, In frontpage I have only 1 paragraph per article…
I have checked the articles in sql everything is in order, it’s only theme related issue.
I have also tried a clean install (J1.6 + new anion, and quickstart…), it still does it, so it’s not a problem from transfering the database from J1.5.
The ony way I managed to get rid of the duplication is by deleting the file: default_item.php (in the featured folder), but you loose images and graphs with the duplicated paragraph, so the problem is definately in there!

I think I got it,
deleted the lines 149-154

and seems to be working good, I can’t test it throughoutly yet, but I dont see any bugs yet from first site.

I think I didn’t changed anything else, I attach and the file.
