Probably a stupid question, but I can’t figure out what the problem is.

When I set any article as a featured article, it appears on my frontpage below (thus outside) the JA News modules:

How do I fix this?

The area you are seeing is the main content block. Any article set as featured will appear there. I am guessing you have manually setup this site as in the quickstart the main content block would be set to not show in the template manager so you would not see this.

It indeed is a migrated (1.5) site I’m working on.
So how do I get rid of the main content block?

Hello,

I have the same problem.

I migrated from 1.5 to 1.7, and any content I try to open from a module located in frontpage it appears on frontpage!
Just for one section (news) it doesn’t happen and works fine.
I don’t understand reason for this difference.

And I really don’t know what to do.
I’ve tryed as written in this topic, but the problem persists.

Any other suggestion?

It is not easy to explain. I normally use the quickstart installed locally on my desktop for reference. I have attached an image detailing how it should look in the template manager.
