I have tried to put in a list – does nothing. Just displays my entire list in a huge paragraph instead the list that it is.

I am also having a problem making an image linkable. For instance, I put in affiliate code into an article page, featured it… image shows up but is not clickable. Put the same code into a module and called it from and article, still not clickable.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes I know it’s clickable.

The problem is that it’s displayed in a paragraph format and not in list format like the code indicates…

As soon as I hit “apply” to save the html in the article, it automatically strips the style tag from the html and the display obviously doesn’t change.

If I remember correctly, there used to be a thread sometime 2 months or so ago and someone has this issue where joomla strips all html styles from intro text. The guy wanted to retain text colors on the intro text like when the article is displayed in item view(clicked on) and one of the developer gave a fix to modify a file which resolves the problem.

I tried looking for it yesterday but couldn’t. But it most certainly was resolved and your problem now looks similar it not exact as that problem where joomla is stripping html styles from intro text.
