1. create a custom.css file, using this tutorial http://t3-framework.org/documentation/customization.html#custom-css

2. Add below code to the created custom.css

.blog-featured .row { margin: 0 !important; }

Try adding this code to custom.css you created

.blog-featured .items-leading .leading, .blog-featured .items-row .item {
border: none !important;
padding-bottom: 20px !important;
margin-bottom: 0 !important;
}

.blog-featured article{
border-bottom: 0px !important;
}

.blog-featured .row{
padding-top:40px !important;
}
