Hi. The read me text in the ja_shopping_ii template advises to put the featured products mod in the user 5 position. I have tried this with a number of different templates including ja_shopping, and the result is always the same. The featured products mod vanishes from the module list. When that happens I can no longer access the featured products module to make changes. Can anyone tell me what the problem is? How do I return the featured products mod to a different user position?

Not sure what you are talking about? From “Modules – Site Modules” in the Joomla backend administrator it disappears? I have never heard of it? Or does it not appear on the front page? Are you sure you have set it to be “visible”?? Unfortunately I do not understand that it can disappear completely in the Joomla backend.

You are aware that there might be “more pages” ( in other words, if you have more than 25 modules, the rest of the modules will display on page 2 ) Is this what happens perhaps? :confused:

Thank you for your reply. Boy, do I feel silly. Yes, the “problem” was that the featured products mod had repositioned to page 2. I didn’t even notice that there was a page 2. I guess I get the pie in the face award. Anyway, thank you very much for pointing that out.

This sort of oversight is typical “me.” Anyway, I can get on with setting up the site.
