Hi

The slideshow in the Featured Stories module is malfunctioning. In the beginning, it would move the pictures/stories in a very erratic way. I slowed it down and it worked for a few days.

Now, the slideshow passes by every other story and lands on the next one. You can see the picture/story but it doesn’t pause for a few seconds to allow you to view/click on it.

Any ideas? I have turned the auto slideshow back on this afternoon so that you can see the problem.

Have you tried turning off JS optimization in the template manager to see if that fixes it?

Tried it, opened and saved the module, cleaned the cache. Still happening.

I have checked your site and the module seems to be functioning as it should. It looks like it is skipping an article simply because it is returning to the start and with only 3 articles that is to be expected.

You seem to be able to fix things by just looking at them. Wish I had that magic touch.

It seems to have fixed itself today. I am sure it will be back later. Will keep you posted.

It may not be the module. I have asked one of the devs to take a look and will hopefully get a response tomorrow.

Hi Susan,

This problem is caused by you have made an improper setting for the module, there are two fields of Animation Duration and Auto play duration, actually the value of Animation Duration should always be less than Auto play duration, when they are equal then there will not a delay time for you to view some items.

I have turned off the auto play since my viewers were complaining. I have about 400 unique visitors per day right now. Yikes! Let me know if I need to turn it back on. Susan
