We are using the JA Sugite template for out site at https://www.viflearn.com
We have set our home page to use the “features-intro” template and it is set as “default” in the menu listing.
However we are running into issues as this is not the real default template that is applied to all the content pages. When a user logs in and selects “remember me”, the next time they visit the site the home page is not laid out right. No featues intro and it’s a mess.
How do we resolve the issue? Currently the Home Page “features-intro” is being replaced by the ja_sugite – Default template when returning users access the home page (until they reload the page)
There doesn’t seem to be a way to indicate a page as the default page, but a different template as the defualt template.

February 24, 2015 at 2:45 pm #560537Hi Adam,
I just went to the setting you specified and it still says default (Local). Are you saying I should change it, or did you change it and it somehow is changed back?
How strange that I never even noticed that setting! Can you explain or point me to documentation that explains what this does?
Thanks so much!

February 25, 2015 at 5:19 pm #560688Hi @vifadmin,
Yes, please change it and recheck. About the Sub-layout, you can see it in this section.
For example, you can assign specific template style (each style has individual layout) to menu item. But let assume that you have an article belong to Home but there’s no menu item point to this article. Normally, the default style will be assigned to this article but the Sub-layout option will let you have another option instead.

February 26, 2015 at 7:31 pm #560846I have implemented this change and hopefully this will solve the problem. The trouble is that it seems some users continue to have the issue while others don’t – even though they clear cache.
In any case, thanks. And I appreciate the link to the sub-layout article!
