January 11, 2010 at 7:36 pm #147561Dear all,
I am building a web shop using VirtueMart.
As my main template I use Fedora.
I would like to have my VirtueMart store styled like Larix template.What I did so far:
I copied the default folder from Larix and uploaded it to components/com_virtuemart/themes called it Larix
In the backend of VM I selected Larix as the theme for my shop
I copied ja.vm.css from Larix and uploaded to templates/ja_fedora/css (renamed the original ja.vm.css).
Is there an easy way to accomplish this?
Thank you very much in advance!
Ben

I think your way is correct. I have checked your website and saw that it looks fine

January 15, 2010 at 9:30 am #329360Thank you for your reply!
The site seems to look okay but the shop-part doesn’t have the layout and style like the VM part of Larix: http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#templates.joomlart.com/ja_larix (When you click on products.)
Although I set Larix as the default theme for the shop, it doesn’t change the styling: like the doted separation lines and the headers of the products.
Can you please have another look and tell me how to correct this?
Thank you very much!
Ben

January 18, 2010 at 3:08 am #329584please make sure that you have added this code:
<link href="<?php echo $tmpTools->templateurl();?>/css/ja.vm.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
into head tag of templates/ja_Fedora/index.php file

January 18, 2010 at 7:51 am #329599I thought the problem was solved but there’s just a little question left:
How can I get the doted separators that separate the products (vertical and horizontal) like in the demo?

January 27, 2010 at 2:41 pm #330630Can you tell me where in Larix the below style is defined?
In Firebug it’s displayed as:element.style {
float:left;
height:279px;
margin:0;
width:49.9%;
}Thanks!
