Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in public_html/web/administrator/components/com_feedgator/plugins/com_k2/com_k2.php on line 367
In your PHP settings turn off display errors:

To do that open your php.ini file in a editor program NOT notepad – most .css editors like topstyle will format it correctly.
Search for this . . . display_errors = On
Change On to Off save as etc.

then to be sure dl the latest feedgator
Cheers Shannon

No mistake…another indication you had a bad upload.

I’m at a loss as to how to rectify your issue. We cannot duplicate it.

You should submit a ticket or PM me admin access so we can take a closer look.
Anything further without any way of actually seeing your website would be purely speculative.

I have the same issue after installation with quickstart. There is a menu with feedgator, but it doesn’t work.

– Error 500

After a new installation of the feedgator component – it works now

You have to download the FeedGator in http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/social-web/social-edition/automatic-articles/13573, and install

But it does not solve the error 500

I’ve also pushed this up to our developers to take a look.
It’s just odd that a few using Quickstart are seeing this…but the rest aren’t.
