Nice template, no WOW effect, but looks very well. I like it in comparison to the latest templates. 🙂

I like all the recent templates, JA Ruby could’ve stuck a bit more to it’s preview (the star background) – but its a business template and is quite a good design.

Looks pretty much like a get out of jail free template,
JA were stuck in a corner and needed a quick fix to complete their two templates per month quota.

They are back on track now so we can forgive them one bad one after all their standards have been quite high this year.

    Just an opinion 😉

I agree with Hinifahmed. Nothing wrong with it but nothing new either. I’d love to see JA make some more extensions and add a few more ‘features’ to templates.

I’d also like the feature added in one template continue on to other templates. Like the tooltip feature in Trona. No reason why this couldn’t have been included in every template since then.

I’d also like to see a better extension download area where ALL JA extensions are available and not just the few stand-alone ones they have.

    Hi Scotty

I used tooltip in another template, quite sure you can use it in any template it’s only a plugin. 😉

Yes, but wouldn’t be easier if it was available in a general download section instead of having to download it from the combined template pack? (which is what scotty is referring to).

Can’t say as I like it too much. Nice header and menu, but then it goes into this ‘JA News FP’ and ‘JA News’ section but with no dividers and looks a wee bit messy.

Big, ugly wide right column is not too nice either.

Still, as mfcphil said, we’ve had quite a crop of good ‘uns, so if this one doesn’t light my candle, doesn’t mean it’s particularly bad, some people may love it.

    Horses for courses, etc.,

    Cheers

Looks unconventional, may change to this one with one of my sites. The beveled right column only looks strange in the default color scheme, with most the others it makes a good fit. Still I think the bevel needs some tuning but all over, I like the aura it has, gives me a 22nd century natural habitat feeling…and I like that!

I agree with Scotty that it would be good to have some new features.

I’ve already mentioned badges for modules in another thread (eg, you add a suffix in the module parameters to add a badge from a selection to the corner of any module such as new, coming soon etc.)

Some more inset styles for typography would be nice as would including the testimonials thing.

There are so many little things that could be added maybe as option packs as extensions. Build into the template the ability to include additional typograpy packs available to extension club members. Inclusing theme to the core template might increase their size by too much so as an addition the customer could choose what to add.

A year and a half I have been asking for new typograpy packs….maybe we should have a Typograpy Request post and if enough peolpe ask for it JA may finally give us what we crave.

The typography requests, CB and FB seems to go in circles JA does not respond to all those requests.

Maybe I should build some typo packs and flog them.

If it was a simple case of pasting the code into the css file and adding the images into your image folder and If you had extras in I am sure people would buy it….I would

    extras I mean are like

code and legend with different coloured backgrounds

Thet could be done as plugins, no need to paste anything.
