    Hi mcarbone,

    JAJobBoard supports to show some fixed system fields in Job Search Form only. Other fields are not supported to be shown although they have “is on filter attribute”.

    Thank you for your quick response! Your support is definitely top notch! I think I may have phrased my question wrong. You answered as if I wanted it the other way around, as if I wanted a field on the filter and it was not appearing

    Here’s what I am asking:

    There is a field “maximum salary” that I do not want on the filter. When I select “no” it still appears on the filter.

    I am NOT asking:
    For a field to appear on the filter.

    Hi mcarbone,

    To remove salary field in search job form, you must customize(remove HTML tags) our search job template file in:
    /administrator/index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=jacustomtmpl&viewmenu=0&task=edit&folder=jajobs&file=jasearchform.php
