    Hi,

please see this link for further explanation as this user had the same issue as me:

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/modules-only-on-job-related-menu-items/

I cannot get the menu modules for the Job Board to display correctly on my website. I need them to be displayed consistently throughout all parts of the Job Board. The only way to achieve rhis is to set the Module to Show on all pages in Joomla, however, as my site is not just a job board, these menus display on every other page.

If I set the module to display on all pages except those selected, it will not show on the job view, profile view etc. pages. The same applies if I select ‘Only on the pages selected.

The member who responded to me in the linked post suggested I may need to do some work with menu links and menu/component IDs, but I am not sure where to start with this.

Can a moderator please advise how I do this?

    Kind regards

    Dear Melanieb,

As the route of this component still has a small issue related to Itemid. So please try to add Itemid to the link which you click on view page without displaying the module. In additions, you should create a new menu in the invisble menu group and add its id to the links which are missing Itemid.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Hero,

my apologies as I have replied in the original message as Brent (and you) kindly answered me in there (sould I delete this post?).

I don’t follow what you are saying. For example, when a user clicks to view the details of a job (in my example it is Admin Support) it takes them to the job details. It is here where my menus dont show. The job details page has the following url:
    http://www.mysite.com/component/jajo…-admin-support

How do I find out the id for that?

    Kind regards

    Hi Hero,

I thought I had fixed it, but I havent. It seems to be the tab views that cause the issues. I have set it to display the all jobs and in that way it works fine, but we prefer to display the tabs (as this way we can view jobs by map etc.).

The tab is displaying JA Job list module content so that you could find the location of layout jalist-item.php file and edit it. Pls go to ja list job module to detect theme setting.
