I reported to the team to update the guideline. If you want to have any part of your site looks like our demo site, try to put your site online and PM me the URL and login info, I will check for you.
UPDATED: the guide is updated here: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-hotel-template/third-party-extensions#jomres , please check it out.

August 17, 2015 at 10:19 pm #662517I am also trying to implement Jomres as the demo showed it as a possible option. It would be useful to have at least minimal direction on how it was configured in the demo.
Jomres has a quickstart package and I believe it uses a separate structure for content. Any direction you can offer would be of help ie did you use the jomres quickstart or is there a way the Ja_Hotel installation could include the basic jomres demo files as in the online joomlart demo. I don’t understand how you can include a 3rd party component in a demo and then leave it out of the quickstart. I know its a paid component but so is solidres.

August 18, 2015 at 1:20 am #662533Please understand that with 3rd party commercial extension like this, we don’t have right to redistribute so it can’t be included in the quickstart package of template.
However, this package still includes style or override for this extension so that we guarantee that after you install quickstart package, then install this extension, it will have the same look with our demo site. Of course, you will need to add your own data because, it doesn’t include sample data as demo site.
Let me know if you need help to configure any part as demo site

August 18, 2015 at 11:10 am #662773Hi aardcom,
I had same question till few days ago, when I found the easy solution.
From that moment, I installed twice the Ja Hotel and Jomres, in matther off minutes.
First, you want to install quickstart from Ja Hotel, so you can have it prety much like demo. Then go and install the Jomres web installer php. (see Jomres doccumentation).
That way, you will have base and clean Jomres installation, without messing the precedent Ja Hotel quickstart, with one property published.
Once yu are there, and after installing all Jomres necesary plugin, will be easy to figure out, haw to create all content.
Still need to figure out some stuff in Ja Hotels, but for me, is the easy and intuitive template I found for Jomres, and I m pretty confident that Jomlart team, will offer us good support for small details.
I m here rom few days, and I m already pleased for prompt support.August 18, 2015 at 11:10 am #745819Hi aardcom,

August 18, 2015 at 8:21 pm #662827Afcos, I am assuming you removed Solidres and replaced with Jomres correct? Jomres appears to have more flexibility in that it can be used in a variety of ways, not just for room bookings.
Might be a good solution for all if Joomlart could reach agreements with 3rd parties for distributing their paid packages. Either a discount for JATC members, or resale through Joomlart, where they keep the discount in exchange for some support for the extension. There’s a few ways to do it and I’m sure it works out for both Joomlart and the 3rd party, in this case solidres or jomres. Having the modules pre-styled to run on the template is a great feature.
Just a thought….
