    Hello,

I created a custom field for the price.

But when I want to filter on the price it does not work because
I have informed all my prices in this way : 1 000.

It works if I do not separate: 1000.

Do you have a trick to fix this and to avoid redo all the prices
of my online catalog (made with K2)

    Thank you

You can do a search-replace in the database for the mysql column where the price is, where you replace ‘ ‘ with ” (with nothing). So all space separators are removed in one step.

Can not be done in a K2 database

And it is a shame that the filter does not recognize a digit with separator. It’s more elegant

Ah that sucks. I’m sure the JoomlArt guys can do something and implement a way to ignore spaces

    Hi,

Try go to backend >> Component >> JA K2 Filter >> Option >> Search Configuration >> Part Extra Field Values Sorting Mode >> Find for the Extra Field for Price change option value to Numberic.

If it doesn’t work, share your site URL here, so I check it further.

    Hello,

It’s hard to explain because I do not speak English (google translate).

I have set everything in the poster of the numbers of JA K2 Filter, that’s good.

My problem is that I have entered all the prices of my catalog this way:

    4246,80 the filter works

4 246,80 € I want this display in my product listings but the filter no longer works
Is it possible to have this display and the filter works?

    thank you

    Hi,
I noticed that when you fill in the fields:

    Ex:
1 500,50 € with space and the symbol € it does not work

On the other hand if I inform in this way:
    $ 1500.50 it works!

So your application does not like € and the space between 1 and 500.50

    Hi,

By purchasing this module, I thought I had a support.
There for a simple question, I have been blocked for a week.

Could I have a simple answer: yes or no to my last question?

    Thank you

    Hi,

    thank you
But the character € is not supported either, while $ is accepted.
"Kw" also, it is therefore the special European character that is not recognized.
I think it’s just an oversight.

    Hi,

15 days and still no answer?

I started my project with your filter more than 3 months ago and I still can not put it into production !!!

    Your filter again behaves strangely:
When a filter is selected, the page drops down for no reason.
When I want to select a second filter I am forced to go up in order to select it, and the page goes down again … so on …

I regroup my worries on this mail because your answers are too long …
I use joomshaper Helix and SP Builder Pro and I hesitate to migrate your templates and page constructor because at home the support is fast and there is less problem.

    thank you

    Hi.

The problem relates to the currency symbol, the team has plan to update to new version but still not found the best solution for it yet. About the problem on your site, you can post your db and dev team would convert your currency to one would work.

For the strange behaviour, it’s because the ajax filter and auto filter is ON. So it’s auto filter and scroll to the results after you choose an option.

    Hello

    thank you for your reply.

The translation is very hard. I do not understand your solution or what I need to do to replace $ by €.

    thank you

    Hi,

It’s not because the currency symbol cause the error.

It due to the white space between numbers instead as number has never had white space between them.

I’ll remove all the white space so it could function normally.
