July 24, 2010 at 1:56 pm #152828I cannot locate the <head></head> tags in this template. I posted a different question here that also hinges on the head tag (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/wysiwyg-editor-in-front-end-not-working/). Since the <head> tag is important for Google Analytics, affiliate programs, and more, I deemed it worthy of its own thread. Not sure if this should be here or in the T3 forum.
The <head> tag is usually found in index.php at the root of the template, but the T3 framework has moved this information elsewhere. I’ve searched everywhere in the anion directory and cannot find it in any of the files. Am I missing something obvious?

July 25, 2010 at 12:40 am #350625Hello, look inside your template folder, in layout/blocks the head is head.php
But you could use a module for analytics, so you don’t loose the customization when upgrade the template.

There is no folder structure of “ja_anion/layout/blocks”. There is a “header.php” file in ja_anion/blocks, but it is not related to the <head>.
The only “head.php” file that I can find is in public_html/plugins/system/ja3/core, and changes to this file did not impact my template. Also, where is <body>?

July 25, 2010 at 5:04 pm #350674With t3 2 they changed the structure….
Try the public_html/plugins/system/ja3/base-themes/default/blocks/head.php
There is another one plugins/system/jat3/base-themes/default/page/default.phpHere is a more complete overview of the new T3 v2 Framework, http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Guides
I think you need to change, plugins/system/jat3/base-themes/default/page/default.php, looks like the structure of the template index, php
But dunno if it’s the correct way to change the template, I think these files must stay unchanged, and make an override somewhere else, someone of JA Staff help here?

July 25, 2010 at 5:23 pm #350679Im starting to think that T3 II has very good overwrite capabilities, but without tooo much explanations on how to use them…
December 29, 2011 at 1:01 pm #431751OK, I found the answer below and it appears to be working as my source code on my browser page includes the google analytics code.
