I’m using Joomla 1.5, quickstart package.

Fireboard seems to conflict with the layout this template.

If Fireboard is installed and you have link to the forum,
the “user5”, “user6” and “right” and “left” doesn’t appear
correctly – some vertical lines display on the right before
any other module published on the right side of the content.
The only solution is to have Fireboard alone, without any
other module on the right side. I wonder why…

    Hi producer111 !
think that this problem is width of fireboard ! Width of fireboard is very large , You will must edit css of fireboard.

    Bump.
I don’t think that the problem is the Fireboard’s width.
I have other sites with Fireboard and the allowed width is less than in that template but is OK.
There’s somethink in this template (maybe some forgotten “div”) that conflicts with Fireboard.
There are two problems with Fireboard :
    1. A layout problem – that obviously concern “user 5” and “user 6” positions
    2. Modules in position “user 6” don’t show with Fireboard.

And please, don’t show this thread as “answered”. The question is not answered at all.

Can someone from Joomlart install Fireboard and try to give us an answer about this conflict ?

i tested frireboard defalt_ex template with telineII and it broke the design.

The solution was change the with from 750px to 550px a small css class inside FB:

    .message

webdeveloper toolbar and firebug are two great firefox extensions..

i learned with time that the best solution is to try to fix and not be whayting for someones good will… 🙂

    Hope that helps.

Thank you very much for your help but I can’t find where is defined
(what file exactly) the width you’re talking about.
I tried several files in FB but I can’t find that… strange.
Can you be a little more specific ? Thanks in advance.
By the way, I’m using Joomla 1.5

It is unbelievable, but just uninstalling and reinstalling Fireboard resolved the problem.
