I built a site with Edenite for my local homeowners association. It was my first attempt at web work and joomla.

I’m having an issue with Fireboard. When users update their avatar, they get a pageload error because the url of the page trying to load is this:

    http://northriverforest.orghttp//northriverforest.org/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=87&func=myprofile&do=show

    instead of this:

    http//northriverforest.org/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=87&func=myprofile&do=show

I added the red highlighting so you can more easily see the problem. Note that this only occurs with avatar updates and not when changing any other parts of the profile.

Has anyone seen this before and know the fix? I will also post over on the Best of Joomla forums but they are surprisingly inactive.

    Thanks!

    Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.1 Production/Stable
    Fireboard Version: 1.0.4 Production/Stable
    Other extensions: Docman, Expose4

No. I am stuck and haven’t gotten response here or at Best of Joomla.

I am still trying to get this resolved here with no luck. My question goes unanswered on Best of Joomla boards. I did learn this interesting tidbit – Fireboard 1.05 is a major update and it will be released as soon as tomorrow.

I don’t know PHP or JS well, but can someone help me figure out where I should look to troubleshoot this problem I’m having:

this one works to update all elements of the the profile except the avatar:
    <form action= “http://northriverforest.org/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=94& func=myprofile&do=saveprofileinfo” method = “post” name = “postform”>

this one does not work when trying to update the avatar from the avatar gallery
    <form action=”http://northriverforest.org/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=94&func=uploadavatar&do=fromgallery” method=”post” name=”adminForm”

The latter yields a page load error as it tries to load a url with the site root listed twice (see original message).

Is there a PHP or JS function called up “uploadavatar” or “fromgallery” I should be looking for. What would I look for to see what is wrong in the code.

    TIA
