Anyone experiencing this problem? I installed the quickstart JA Teline II and tried to maximize the video on the “Videos – drive your way” section while playing but firefox is crashing. Also tried it on IE8 and same result.

Also, is the “use popop” option in the Allvideos Reloaded module functional? tried selecting yes to this option but the “video” section in the homepage was removed. Just want to try if I can play the video in a separate window.

    Appreciate any help.

    victrixent,

Why not provide the URL of your site, so others can test if they can replicate the problem.

Also, if you are just testing Teline II now, Joomlart are coming out with Teline III shortly. It will correct some of the flaws of Teline II and more.

If you can wait long enough, maybe a month or so, the Teline III maybe a better option, in the long run.

I’m using a wampserver – localhost, but I just tried installing it in my hosting provider and has the same result, here is the URL – http://design1.victrixonline.com

    Thanks.

    victrixent,

I tried the URL you provided in five different browsers — Firefox, Camino, Safari, Opera and Netscape, no Internet Explorer for Mac — the Demo page of the Teline II you have there loaded quite fast — 3-5 seconds, except Camino (more thn 10s).

There was no crashing in any of those browsers. When you state maximize, did you mean the video occupies your full screen? If that is what you mean, I tried that too with Firefox, using Videos — Drive y
our way. It did not crash my computer either.

I have an old G4 Mac Notebook (ca 2003). OSX 10.3.9). Because of the OS, the browsers were not the latest versions.

I was referring to the option in the video player itself, next to the volume on the right side. Also, is the video module can be on it’s own popup window when clicked? Please advice.

Yes, victrixent. I tried that with Firefox. No problem encountered.

I just installed 3.5.2 last week and noticed it is still kind of buggy.

If you do not maximize, is there any crashing? If not, why not just embed the script into a page. Many people do not allow popout anyway.

There is no crashing if it’s not maximized, still having problems with one of my machines when maximizing it, I figured it must be on my machine/plugin settings rather than the template itself.

About the popup, just curious about that “popup” option on what’s its purpose in the module parameter. i thought it is the same function as the register/login module that it pops out and can be moved around.

    Anyway, thanks for the help.
