Hello,

I would love to source file was made in PNG, not PSD. Photoshop is good for edit image, but is horrible for edit web images.

I’ve seen that many people want the same thing. Moreover, the most web designer use FireWorks.

I have no problem opening the PSD files with JASC Paint Shop. Do you have that program? It’s not nearly as expensive as my sister’s Photo Shop on her fancy Apple. :p (I hope she’s not reading). 😀

you can also try gimpshop

http://www.gimpshop.com/

it works like photoshop, only better and its free.

you can also use it to convert the file to the format you want.

Thank you friends, I can test this options… I like Fireworks, because is very easy work with web files… modify the png file and export the slice image is very simple.

WOW MJ… I would like to say thanks but did I ever have a time with that program! I ended up deleting Gimp Shop from my computer because of the errors. I’m not sure what I did wrong but I think I’ll pass on that one! 😀
