Look good, awesome for journalist site.
btw is it okay to have 582 error on w3C CSS validator
and 2 Errors & 2 warning in XHTML validator?

edit1: strange this forum doesn’t show yet on the board index
edit2: in the index page, JA Pyrite has been released! Demo – Download now! – Your comments, ‘Your comments’ is linked to wrong forum is should be 119 not 117

The first week or so of a template’s release is generally when bugs are identified and addressed.

I actually like this new template – clean and relatively simple – a good “blog” type theme that seems versitile for virtually any topic.

    😎

Thank you for your feedback. All of your mentioned issues have been fixed.

    Congratulations

The document located at <http://template15.joomlart.com/ja_pyrite/> was successfully checked as XHTML 1.0 Transitional. This means that the resource in question identified itself as “XHTML 1.0 Transitional” and that we successfully performed a formal validation using an SGML or XML Parser (depending on the markup language used).

i kinda like this template, an as mentioned before in this tread: a good “blog” type theme that seems versitile for virtually any topic.
The menu is new and good looking, pathway at top there, looks good to me.Maybe left or right align the logo and put a banner there at top would remove some whitespace?

i like this template too. but that are not a new structure, same like many others.

And when the template are just released are that a RC. Not stable version.. If that are a RC, set that in top of this site too.

Looks good fellows. I actually used a blog template (from Word Press) that was very similar to this one. I’m sure I’ll find a use for the Pyrite Template.

Tired of seeing these comments on every template release. There are only so many ways you can arrange a header, menu, and content on a web page.

    What would you suggest?

I’m new to the whole Joomla scene. I did try out 1.0 but 1.5 is so much nicer to use!

I’ve set up my website based on this theme, what I really appreciated was the easy to follow directions. I have a little website experience but having everything so well commented and access to the tutorials has been worth very penny of the one year subsciption. I’m almost embarrased to link the site because it’s pretty much a copy of the demo but here you go . http://www.reconnectivehealer.co.nz – early days yet and I’m still working through the modules and getting the content up.

The top menu is driving me nuts but it looks like I need to take it down to 3 or 4 items and create another menu for the left column – yes I really am a beginner.

I’ll be back with things I can’t figure. However, I like it ! Thanks for the tutorials !
