Would like to make website as user friendly as possible. Please help me clean this code. Here’s the invalid markup as a result of inserting the Your Shopping Cart Module in JA Larix:

Enable sef will make your page validation.

In your administrator, select Site->Global Configuration, select SEO tab and enable SEF.

Hi,

There’s a warning: Apache only! Rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess before activating. What should I do?

You could see a file with name htaccess.txt on your root folder. Rename this file to .htaccess.

The markup was valid after I followed your instructions, but when I click on any of my main links, I get this:

Not Found
The requested URL /home/canin11/public_html/joomla/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.39 Server at fati.lunarmania.com Port 80

Hi,

I get this error when I name the file .htaccess:

The requested URL /home/canin11/public_html/joomla/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Is it because I don’t have apache setup? Would this prevent search engines from crawling my website?
