I just tested JA builder with my megastore template. I want to achieve below, and wonder if this is possible:

    1. JA builder is using full width template. my megastore template is not full width, and I want to keep the same max width like megastore for JA builder template too.

    2. when using JA builder template, all my megastore template layout module positions will be gone. I want to keep all megastore template layout module positions, and add all JA builder template new module position into it. how to do that?

    Hi sky,

For the first question, as you are using Megastore so when you add new builder page, it will still has the same width as other pages in your site.

For the second question, JA Builder has different layout structure with normal T3 Framework so it is quite complicated to have exactly same layout structure as JA Megastore template. Basically, you can create spotlight content block >> configure number of column >> configure width for each coloum then assign module to each coloum.

Let me know if you have any other question.

    Regards.

instead of using the builder layout, How can I just turn megastore default layout to support JA builder so that I can easily add blocks to existing pages instead of creating all new pages or change existing pages layout that will lost all existing module position contents.

    Hi again,

Each page can use 1 template style only. In case you want to create content block to an existing page, you have to assign JA Builder template style for the menu item, that’s the way Joomla works.

    Regards.
