This template looks promising but I will have to modify the css quite a bit.

Another possible modification: How could this be done?

Fixed width for image but variable image height in Frontpage

I tried that Hainn, in Teline II. I placed the widfh value and left the height blank. It does not work.

I want to try it with Rutile template though, for my personal page — at least just the Frontpage portion only. That way, the image will span the width assigned, but theight will be variable. This is important to ensure that a vertical or horizontal image will show properly.

How is this done?

You can do it following way below :
Please open template.css file in templates/ja_rutile/css folder , Add following code section to that file :


.jazin-content img {
width:200px; // edit this attribute as you wish
}
