Hi

I currently have a client who’s client wants to advertise on their website. They are creating a flash banner to put in the header in the Banner section. I have been emailed and asked “What are the spec’s for the flash banner ad”? This I do not know. I did some research and found the following

Flash Version: 7.0 or above

Frame Rate: 12 frames per second (fps)

GETURL CLICKTAG ACTION
The following code needs to be included in each Flash banner ‘button’
layer.

on (release) {
getURL (clickTag, “_blank”);
}

I was wondering if there is any specific settings for a flash banner in Joomla and also how it will count and display the number of clicks, and if this GETURL Action is correct.

My idea is you should learn more about the banners component/module of Joomla! and use them for your business.
