I have put a flash module in the jaslideshow position which works great, but the template menu drops down behind the flash module. Is there a work around or a way to have the menu on top of everything?

you should be able to fix this using z-index.

I am building the site in a temporary site then I will move it to their server when it done so this is not the final location of the site. here is the url.

on second tought i doubt you can solve this with z-index.

Did you use a certain module for the flash?

Some of the parameters for flash content on this page might be what you need.

It’s called flashmod, got from joomla.org
module has a few parameters:
Mod Class suffix
file path
filename
width
height
Object Name ID
Flash version
quality
loop
and Window Mode: Window; opaque; and Transparent.

Setting the Window mode to transparent should fix it.

your right, that did it. I thought that would affect the actual flash files transparency. thanks for the help.
