Yep, it is quite easy really.
First go into module manager and select position ja-login. You will find a module in there, change the position of it to right (or wherever you want the module).
You will then see that you have the flashy login module in the position you just selected. The flashy bit is done with a template override which takes over the standard login module (the same can be done with many plugins, modules or layouts and is one of the more powerful features of Joomla 1.5).
To switch off that override simply go into templates>ja_tube>html and rename the folder, mod_login. The template will then no longer see the custom mod login so will revert to the standard one.
