May be I am doing something wrong but I have uploaded through ftp a new favicon to the following location: /public_html/templates/ja_teline_iv but it is not showing, and I have clean the cache and browser history but it still shows the joomla favicon

Try to put it in : jatc_teline_ivimages

plugins/system/jat3/base-themes/default/images

I mean in the directory “images” of your web site… Put your favicon simply in it…

You have to clean you browser cache, clean cache on admin back end, clean JAT3 clean cache.
If you already pur the favicon on right place try to refresh you site (F5).

Note: sometimes not showing directly and you have to wait after next you open you site again and that will showing.
