I am trying to get a floating sidebar on my product pages. Take a look at it – http://tirereviewer.com/tires/goodyear-assurance-fuel-max
The problem is that when browser window is minimized (or on small resolution screens) the sidebar either overlaps the site content, or is not visible as it hides behind the left screen side.
What I want is to have it on the left side of my website fixed in the middle when scrolling vertically, and not shift horizontally.
Something like this – http://blog.stebalien.com where the sidebar is moving up and down but does not disappear or overlap when browser is reduced in size.
