Hi,
I have re-installed the Flowlist Module.
Problem is that the “Flowlist From” selection box that is supposed to allow you to choose images from a folder is not there. All I see is this:
Parameters
Module Parameters
Module Class Suffix
Flow list of Category or Section Category Section
Category (Section) ID
Article OrderHow do I get the choice box back?

December 11, 2008 at 5:56 am #282309I think the only way is to reinstall yet again. Something might have been corrupted during the upload. If that doesnt work maybe download the latest version from JA in case any bugs have been fixed. I d/l Labra yesterday and it doesnt have that problem.
Hope this helps,
Jason.December 11, 2008 at 11:08 am #282341Hi Jason,
Makes no difference.
The only thing I can think of is that it doesn’t work properly if it isn’t installed without being part of quickstart install.
Am i the only person that has had this problem with the configuration boxes not being there after a normal module install?
Steve.December 12, 2008 at 2:05 am #282497Hi All,
Update to this prob. I have installed the latest Flowlist Mod from the Labra download many times but I am still stuck with the first image in the middle of page.
Had anyone got this working so that the middle image is in the middle of the page?
If so, could you please post you FL Module settings and CHMOD settings?
I would be forever grateful.
Regards SteveJanuary 11, 2009 at 7:09 am #285875I’m having this same problem after uninstalling and reinstalling Flowlist a few times. This is incredibly frustrating. I need to stream from folders!!!

Not sure if this will help you but in my experience if you change the start item in the module manager for the flowlist to 0 it automatically calculates which is the middle image and displays it in the middle of the page.
Here’s hoping it works for you!
On folders issue – not sure why but in the module manager for the flowlist you need ‘flow list from’ set to ‘contents’ and ‘from folders’ set to the folder you want the images to come from. Your folder must be a sub folder of the images folder ie. ‘images/stories/demo’ would show all of the images in the demo folder.
Sorry another addition to above – when setting the above delete the default number in the category (section) id otherwise it won’t work! NB. If you go back into the module manager for flowlist for anything remove the default number again.

March 28, 2009 at 3:59 am #298635When you have 5 images (image_1, image_2, image_3, image_4 and image_5) and want the flowlist to show the one image in the middle and 2 on the left and right at start-up you will have to define image_3 as starting image in the module admin. When you want the flowlist to start with the same effect but with 15 images you have to define starting image_8.
When there is the option to chose to sort the images in the folder alphabetically, you should decide to name your images like image_1, image_2 and so on so you can easiely define which one will be the middle starting images, otherwise it will automatically sort the images this way and you will also have to define the starting images to be the one “in the middle of the bunch”.
Nothing else.
