Hello
I have installed JA Rutile on my soon to be published website.
The only thing that annoys me is the fact that if your content in the left, main or right columns is shorter in length than another column, the column ends after the last piece of content. Therefore you can have large gaps.
What I need is to have fluid height columns – so that if nothing further exists in a column, the column still stretches to the start of the footer area.
Can this be done and if so, how?
Thanks
Jonathan

May 10, 2009 at 5:41 pm #304229As all of the pages will be different height (due to the content), how will the min height fix solve this problem?
May 10, 2009 at 6:14 pm #304233Yeah I did a hack for this, see my post which is just a few down from yours.
It only works with a 3 column layout mind…

I saw your post, but unfortunately, my site is narrow width. Your fix won’t help my situation.
Anyone else, or JA, got a solution?
Thanks
Jonathan

i have not a clear understanding on the issue, pls give me the detail information and the snapshort on the issue

March 15, 2010 at 5:57 am #336214The issue is that the columns (left, right) do not automatically adjust their height to stretch to the USER2 etc. area near the bottom of the site.
Look at this screenshot here:
Is it possible to do this?
