    hi all,

    first, I do not want that the user can change the width so I removed to cpanel.
    second, I would like to use “fluid” width with around 1200px. however, this is only working in firefox, not in IE8 or chrome. the whole page is much smaller. sometimes even firefox is displaying the content in the small version. if this happen, I have to add the cpanel again and make the settings there.

    so, now I want to add the width directly in the css-file.
    where do I have to do that?

    Hi kofi,

    Just let you know that “fluid” width is working in all browsers.

    There are 2 options for you in the case of want to change the width to 1200px:

    1. Login administrator > Extensions > Template > Choose the template you want change ( Ex: JA T3V2 ) > Profiles > Special width > Fill the expected width value( EX: 1200px ) > Apply.

    Verify that the width default of template is still 1200px;

    2. Open this file templatesja_t3_blankcsstemplate and add the following line:

    .main {width: 1200px !important;}

    Verify that the fuild width is not controlled.
