1. look in ja.slideshow.css (around line 104) and make the necessary changes

.ja-slideshowdesc {
bottom:50px;
color:#FFFFFF;
font-size:180%;
font-weight:bold;
left:50px;
padding:10px 0;
position:absolute;
width:60%;
z-index:10;
}

2. go to your module manager. look for the slideshow module and determine the path of your images. upload any images you want to add to the slideshow into the directory found above
