The problem you’ve mentioned is Joomla! related. It’s more than the editor issues.
When you select that style, let say ‘caption’, the editor will automatically insert <span class=”caption”> in the selected text. And it’s depend on each template if they will style for this class or not.
The other Typography of JA templates will not be shown in that select box of editor. You can only insert it manually by view the html code and then type in the class of typography you want.

The previous post is wrong, this is obviously not a Joomla related issue
but a problem in the templates of Joomlart.
