    hey guys!

i’ve installed and am trying to customise and configure the MERO template on a 2.5.9 install.

i made a copy of the default template, but as soon as i edit ANYTHING (for example, in this case, i simply turned off the T3 framework footer) the fonts change to default system fonts.

the same thing happens if i try to change from LOGO to TEXT header. immediately the site’s fonts switch to default fonts.

i’ve been reading through documentation for about 6 hours to get this set up so forgive me if i’ve missed something, but i’m really scratching my head on this one. i’m sure it’s something simple i’m missing!

if you visit the site now (http://www.darkenergymedia.com/V2) you’ll see that the template is using web fonts and not the custom fonts from MERO.

    thanks very much in advance!

    cheers,
    chris

testing out navigation on the template again, it seems the fonts switch between the template fonts and the system fonts as i change from page to page, which is even more confusing. sometimes i’ll click on ‘home’ and it’ll look as it should, other times the serif and arial fonts are in place. i know it’s probably something i’m missing, but it’s driving me a bit nuts.

    thanks!

in case anyone takes a look at this, i’m presently re-installing to a new DB as we speak because i’m getting impossibly frustrated with this.

i thought maybe it’s some kind of interaction with BlueStork since that’s permanently set to default.

okay i’ve just finished the install, and RIGHT OFF THE BAT, without changing a SINGLE THING, the fonts are flopping back and forth between default web fonts and the MERO fonts.

all i did was create a new DB for the install, use the jatc_mero_j25.zip quickstart bundle and that’s it.

i haven’t changed or modified anything. when first visiting, the fonts are fine, but if i click on ‘typography’ and then back to ‘home’, the fonts all change, and seem to get ‘stuck’ in the default fonts until i find a page that they’re normal again.

i’m going to read through the install guide again and see what i’m doing wrong, because this is really driving me crazy.

admins – i’ve changed the DB information and admin login with this new installation. if anyone is interested, please contact me and i’ll happily share that info to get this fixed.

    thanks.
