There is another problem, I cannot delete some older banners from component banner sections, when I trashed them, they are marked "Trashed", can not empty them…please can you take a look….also cannot delete them completely, from using "trashed" from "Status".

You will need to configure correctly your banners , i published a dummy module into footer-banner position and it works as you can see

Hi Panit,
It was working before, footer banner is not displaying after updating latest joomla, gone missing with other 4 footer display you just fixed……I have previously set the footer banner by using component banner section, it is always good, did not use custom module…..ofcourse we have to use module position!

I created a new banner wih a new client and a new category and assigned module to footer-banner position and it is working correctly as you can see

Check your banners again
