Hi
You can hide the footer position from the template style of JA Megastore > Layout > Responsive Layout > click on the Eye icon near module position to hide the position in the view.

Hi
You have to resize the footer position to remove the space, from template layout options.
Or published the module from first position to fill this space.

Open tpls/blocks/footer.php file
find

        <div class="col-lg-9 col-md-9 col-sm-8 col-xs-12 footer-links">

replace 9 with 12 in the code.

Save and check.
