    Hi,
I’m using the JA Rutile template to build up my joomla website and have tried some templates also. I’m using joomla 1.5.7. The footer in general is not shown at all in my page when I choose e.g. JA Rutile or Ja Barite, but with JA Bellatriy it’s shown.
    web: http://www.orbitapopular.com/

Do I have to install some footer module or somethign like that?

As you have installed an empty template there is no footer. Go to Admin Backend>Module manager>New>Footer .

    Thank you for the information,
With Ja Bellatrix I get without footer component the following footer:
“Copyright © 2005 – 2008 Orbita Popular. Designed by JoomlArt.com”, an also the links to rss, css, xhtml and s.o.
After having created a footer and placed it in the footer place, the copyright text I get is the following:
“Copyright © 2008 Open Source Matters. Todos los derechos reservados.
    Designed by JoomlArt.com. ” No
Normally “Open Source Matters” should be overriden by <site name> in my case “Orbita Popular”. Joomlart templates overrides the standard Joomla footer delivered by joomla core.
In the Demo version the following is shown:
“Copyright © 2008 Welcome to JA Rutile – 2nd Sep 08 JA Template Club. All Rights Reserved. Designed by JoomlArt.com”
Here I I stated above “Open Source Matters” is substituted by “Welcome to JA Rutile – 2nd Sep 08 JA Template Club” which is OK .
Is somwthing wrong with my template installation?
