I wonder if anyone having problem with using Footer modules (not with Quick installation and Joomla 2.5). Basically I can not use/show anything footer-1 footer-2 etc… positions…

yea it is acknowledged by JA that they have problem with that i think i read it somewhere on the forum here.

Yes, it was me to start that topic but nothing changed or hear anything for two weeks. So I thought maybe I am the only person who have the same problem or I make something wrong, so I just wanted to make it clear.

Here the solution.
1. Update positions in templatesja_merotemplateDetails.xml

<position>footer-1</position>
<position>footer-2</position>
<position>footer-3</position>
<position>footer-4</position>
<position>footer-5</position>

2. Assign module for at least one on spotlight block, and one for "footer-5" or "footer-6". These two modules must be visible on homepage in Menu Assignment. The html structure for this row seems be complicated, so it requires at least two modules to display the whole block.
Another way, you can change to "||" instead of "&&" condition like following in templatesja_merotplsblocksfooter.php
