QUESTION:
Are you trying to create an entirely new menu positioned within your footer section – as opposed to the established footer menu(s) within the demo – and quickstart/sample-data installation?

Yes I did create an entirely new menu in the footer selection. The aim is to have an horizontal menu:

thx…I added that to the custom.css [PHP].t3-footnav ul li, .t3-footnav .latestnews li {
float: right;
}[/PHP]

but that does not work 🙁
