    Hi,

I just purchased your extension. I configurated plugins & modules.
I put the module in right place in my template (a Yootheme one) and when I’m searching on one parameter, the result page is white and I get a message :

    Forbidden access

    (Flooding)

    Can you help me?

    Regards.

.The web site is http://www.smashingdeco.com; The module is on the right.

In fact the bug is coming from SH404SEF. When I disable the sef component, the message is disappearing.

But now when I search I error message in the module and no result in the mean space.

    Hi Pixwem,

JA Office is closed for the weekend, but monday first thing, we will work on this.

You cant try to increase the values in the Sh404SEF – security settings >> Anti flood settings.

Don’t worry, we will make it work for you.

    Regards

    Arvind

    Hi again,

The warning errors are due to presence of json_decode on your server. This bug has been fixed and i have just updated the download files. Please download again and install.

Please don’t be confused by the version or date in the download folder, its updated just now. We would release a new version in the coming days with more fixes, as and if they are reported.

    Regards

    Arvind

I am having this same problem. Here is a link to my site:
    http://www.barretttownship.com/

When I have SH404sef’s security enabled, it gives me the “Flooding” error. When I disable the sh440sef security, it gives me:

    http://www.barretttownship.com/search.html?ordering=&searchphrase=all&searchword=

    The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
    cookies.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    -Nate

    Hi,
@natecovington, try fix your problems as following:
    – add your live site ulr in “configuration.php” file.
    – goto control panel of sh404sef component, open tab “configurations>Security configuration”
    – On “Anti-flood configuration” tab config value param as
    Activate anti-flood choose “yes”
Only if POST data (forms) choose “no”
    Anti-flood control = 10
Max number of requests = 10

    Hello!
I just have the same problem, i downloaded the extension today and the Security configuration in sh404sef is like you described above.

    The error is:
“Safari kann die Seite nicht öffnen.
Es traten zu viele Verbindungswiederholungen beim Öffnen von „http://www.dinatango.com/joomla/Such-Ergebnis.html?ordering=&searchphrase=all&searchword=“ auf. Dies ist möglich, wenn die geöffnete Seite auf eine andere Seite umleitet, die wieder zurück auf die Ursprungsseite verweist.”

-> “Safari can´t open the site, there are too many connections by opening „http://www.dinatango.com/joomla/Such-Ergebnis.html?ordering=&searchphrase=all&searchword=“ Thats possible, if the opened Site is redirected to another site which links to the first site”

When i switch sh404sef off, it works. But i actually need sh404sef…

    How can i solve this?

    Thanks!

Mine has been resolved. Check your SH404sef -> URL Manager for the “search” component and make sure that its default URL has an itemID in it. You’ll also want to make sure that you have a corresponding menu itemID somewhere in your menu.

Wow i don´t know why but it works, i purged the urls and made a Menu item for Search, like you wrote.
    Thanks!

You can also go to “components” in sh404 and choose not to handle search and then everything works, no need to create search menu item or insert any itemids.
