Sorry, the contact form does not support to open the thanks message in a new page.
It shows it on the same block as this is the most required feature to get a message on the same page.

Hi
You can look for 3rd party extension modules and load it them in builder blocks that contain the features that you are looking for, because the form comes with pre-made layouts and you can not change it.
