I keep having problems with articles pushing out the right column. (Example below)
http://chocolatefly.com/index.php/zchocolate
I am using the default template joomla1.5.15
I am about to give up on this template due to this problem, but i do like the look of it when it is working. Can you suggest a fix?
Thanks:confused:

January 4, 2010 at 5:00 am #328068That looks like there is an unclosed DIV tag somewhere in the articles. I’ve had this problem before and once I tracked down and closed the DIV tag, evrything was ok again.
Hope this helps,
J.
January 4, 2010 at 5:39 am #328074Thanks but I cant find any open tags, and no issue with other templates so it seems to be something in the seleni template. :p

January 4, 2010 at 5:44 am #328075Ok, this one is a long shot, just going from memory.
It looks like you have the ‘Read Ons’ enclosed in Div’s. I’m almost sure that this has caused me problems in the past. Check the source code of each of your frontpage articles. I use Seleni without problems on one of my sites so the template itself works well.
If you can, send me a PM with temporary login details and I’ll take a look for you.
Cheers,
J.
January 4, 2010 at 6:01 am #328077working through the source code of each article is exactly what i hoped to avoid with purchasing a template vs home grown. sigh. The articles are published with the standard cotent editor with no special formating and should not require this sort of auditing.
Unfortunatly this has already cost more time than it is worth. While I like to template it is frail. SInce i have three other templates that dont do this, its safe to say there is a bug lurking someplace in this template. At least for my content.

January 4, 2010 at 6:03 am #328078The template is just the design. The content is up to you but I totally understand your frustration. Good luck.
Cheers,
J.
January 4, 2010 at 6:18 am #328079the template delivers the content but I really appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

January 4, 2010 at 8:09 am #328103I get the same issue with articles in IE. In Firefox they look fine.

January 5, 2010 at 3:23 am #328197The First, You must to looking for one of the list of artciles cause this problem via you unpublic article by article. When you found a wrong article, you only check the source code and edit the content to be right.
Good luck
