I am upgrading my school’s website to Joomla 1.5.x and have modified JA Purity to look similar to the template I am using on the existing Joomla 1.0.x site. The users like the current layout, so I had to use the USER4 module position to contain a menu in addition to the standard search box.

The menu, which is set up as a standard list, does not behave like other links in the site, but I cannot figure out which css entries to modify. Can you point me in the right direction?
You can view the site at: http://www.stpatskennettsquare.org/

The menu in the upper right-hand corner has three items that are underlined, and have a light-grey (almost white) background that appears when you hover over them. I’d like the text to change color as opposed to having the light grey background, which is not very visible.

You helped me with a previous problem with the menu bar not showing all the entries and I’m hoping you can help again!

    Thanks in advance…

I have continued to look and try different solutions, but have not been able to adjust the formatting within the USER4 area. Any help you can provide would be appreciated!

    Bump?
I still have not solved the problem, but I did go ahead and upgrade my 1.0.x site to 1.5.x – the URL to visit is now:

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
