I have JA Submit on two of my sites. And it is a great component.
I did a search and if I missed this situation forgive me.

When someone submits a story/poem etc. They format it in paragraphs. But when I log into the content section to approve, all the formatting just goes poof and it is one big paragraph.

Here is an example on the front page (the Rainbow Bridge Story). This was neatly submitted (by me) as nice paragraphs.

I had someone else design this and set it up but he also can’t figure it out.

Same thing is happening to me. Any ideas??

I have re-installed JA_submit and tried with and without JCE_editor (I actually uninstalled JCE). I have tried the TinyMCE as well, and still no format.

I also don’t have any of the tool bars for the editors. Very strange.

I sorted this out by going to the Joomla General Configuration CP and in the SEO section I changed “Search Engine Friendly URLs:” to No and both my problems were solved.
