Can you put the image before the first line of text (the headline)? Or is the headline coming from the module title instead?

If it’s coming from the module title maybe you can tell it not to display the title, and just put the code in with the image before the <h3>
I don’t have the template installed so I can’t check it, and I don’t know if this will help or not, just trying to give another suggestion.
Ok just looked at demo, and I think Shannon’s idea is better. :-[
