I did use the quickinstall and it works fine, good…but, I’d like to use the website in France…so, how can I a french version of joomla ? Can I upgrade my configuration ? What about modules and VM ?…are there french version ?

To have Joomla in french you need to install a french language pack, which you can find at joomla.org. For Virtuemart you should check the joomla.org forum if there is a french language pack available for it.
When that is taken care of you can come back here if the template still needs translations:)

I’ve got Joomla in french now, thx, but or VM, that’s another problem…
I downloaded a “french language pack”… I don’t know where to put those files…
There is not only one french.php…but there are many folder…Where Do I have to place them ?

I use Joomla 1.0.15 and virtuemart given with Larix, the 1.0.12 one…..
